Dr. Michel Babajanian is an otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon who works with the Skull Base Institute. Dr. Babajanian has special expertise in head and neck surgery and is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
In addition to general otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, Dr. Babajanian's clinical experience includes expertise in the surgical treatment of tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands. He is well-trained in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as applications of lasers in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. Dr. Babajanian is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the Los Angeles Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Babajanian earned his bachelor's degree in biology from New York University, and his medical degree from UCLA. He completed his general surgery internship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he also completed his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. Prior to joining the Otosurgical Group Medical Clinic, Dr. Babajanian served as a staff otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles.
