Dr. Stephen Fierstien is a board-certified radiologist with specialty training in Neuroradiology and Head and Neck Imaging. He graduated from Temple University School of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr. Fierstien's post-doctoral training includes a radiology residency at the University of California at Los Angeles, a neuroradiology fellowship at the Harvard Medical School Affiliated Hospitals and a fellowship in head and neck radiology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Following this, Dr. Fierstien served as Chief of Neuroradiology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center for four years. Subsequently, he joined five partners to form a large outpatient radiology network. For the last fourteen years, Dr. Fierstien has been at the Beverly Hills Imaging center where his practice has focused on magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography. Over the past several years he has worked closely with SBI providing the diagnostic neuroradiologic studies necessary for their local, national and international patients. Dr. Fierstien is the author of multiple scientific publications and has presented lectures and seminars in his area of expertise on both the national and international levels. In addition, he has worked with a number of radiology manufacturers developing angiographic catheters and radiographic and magnetic resonance imaging equipment.
