I just wanted to say thank you for your professionalism and expertise in removing my 1.6 cm Pituitary Tumor. As a result of my tumor that was hormone producing I had Acromegaly that created inflation in my body. Within three weeks of the procedure I lost over 15 pounds of weight attributed to my Acromegaly. I can say with certainty that Dr. Shahinian saved my life and my health. I know my tumor was very complicated because it was going into my Right Cavernous Sinus where my Carotid Artery was and through my Dura, the first layer of my Brain. My operation was a complete success. My IGF-1 levels were over 700 before my surgery and my most recent test showed they were only at 158. I am 100% recovered and felt normal within 4 weeks of the surgery. In fact, my surgery was April 9th, 2013 and I had my first client meeting two weeks later.
I also want to compliment you on your tremendous staff. I cannot imagine what would have happened to me if we did not go with you, and went the old fashioned way of a Craniotomy or an open Transsphenoidal. I had no rehabilitation at all because you never touched my brain. I would encourage anyone wondering if the distance or time or money is worth it, and I would say YES.
