TV Anchor: A single mother and schoolteacher from Pasadena is recovering from a revolutionary new surgery that has restored her sight. Adrian Griffin was nearly blind due to a massive brain tumor that was pressing on her optic nerve. She's now recovering from surgery known as endoscopy. It's a new procedure that allows physicians to use micro-instruments to access brain tissue instead of cutting the skull. Griffin's sight will be fully restored within the next couple of days.
